Our Year 10 Business Studies pupils recently took part in an engaging careers session with KIER Construction, organised in collaboration with Careers Wales. This session provided students with valuable insights into the construction industry, highlighting various career paths, apprenticeship opportunities, and the essential skills required to succeed in the sector. Pupils had the chance to interact with industry professionals, ask questions, and gain a deeper understanding of real-world business operations.
This session is the first of three designed to expose pupils to a range of career opportunities. Next, they will participate in a session with the Army, where they will explore careers within the armed forces, leadership skills, and transferable business skills. These experiences aim to support students in making informed decisions about their future career pathways, equipping them with essential knowledge and guidance to plan their next steps beyond school.
