Ready to Learn

Our ‘Ready to Learn’ Team is based in room D7. It is designed to help some students have timeout to regulate and reflect. It can be used for prevention to de-escalate a situation and can also provide    targeted intervention to help pupils manage challenging situations.

We apply a restorative approach to enable learners to gain an understanding of what has happened and how they can potentially avoid further issues.  Where possible the aim is for the pupils to return to class.
