A group of Year 9 students today engaged with two Swansea University Language Lecturers to look at global languages and the importance of being able to communicate in a different language, both now and in the future. Pupils were asked to complete trilingual activities using their knowledge of English and Welsh to help decipher the meaning of other international languages. Additionally, pupils were keen to find out the different career opportunities that languages can provide. It was an excellent session, and we are keen to liaise further with Swansea University.
