Disneyland Paris Trip March 6th 2025 – Final Reminders

DEPARTURE TIME

We will be meeting at Penllergaer Services on Thursday 6th March at 19.00 for a prompt 19.15 departure. Staff will be at the services from 6:15pm.

We politely ask parents/carers not to park in the allocated coach bays at Penllergaer Services as this is the safest place for us to load pupils and luggage. For safety please keep all luggage and children on the pavement and not allow them to overspill onto the roads/carpark.

Passports.

All pupils will need their passports, which will need to be handed to a member of staff when boarding the coach.

Medication.

Any medication should be in a bag clearly labelled with the pupils’ names.

If any pupils require travel medication, please ensure these are taken before boarding the coach.

Travel Belongings

Please be reminded that anything the pupils want with them in the park on Friday should be with them in a bag on the bus. Ideally all pupils should have a portable charger with them in the park to ensure their phone battery is topped up so that they are always contactable. There will be no access to any luggage in the hold until we arrive at our hotel Friday evening.

Pupils can bring a small pillow or blanket with them for the journey; the coaches will be with us for the entire weekend. Pupils can bring food/snacks for the journey.

FERRY CROSSINGS

Dover to Calais Crossing

We will be checking into Dover port at 01.30 on the Friday morning for our crossing on the P&O Ferry at 03.30. We will then travel from the ferry terminal, heading straight to Disneyland.  We will plan to have one French services stop along the way and then should hopefully arrive for breakfast in the Disney village before the park opens. Pupils will need euros to buy breakfast and lunch on Friday.

Calais to Dover Crossing

We will be travelling on the DFDS ferry and should check in at 12.20 on the Sunday afternoon and aim to depart at 14.20. Pupils will be provided with a food voucher for a free meal on the ferry. We will stop around teatime for food in a UK service station. We hope to be back in Penllergaer services at 20.00-20.30 – please be there waiting for pick up as I am sure we will all be exhausted.

Please keep an eye on our social media channels/school website as we will be using this to post any travel updates.

Meal Vouchers

Pupils will be issued with meal vouchers for a meal on Friday and Saturday teatime. Pupils will be able to buy a meal from one of the fast-food outlets in the park using the voucher.

Staff on Duty in the Park

There will always be members of staff available based at Casey’s Corner Cafe in the park should pupils require anything.

Disneyland Paris App

Pupils can download the Disneyland Paris App from the Apple/Google store which will allow them fast track a selection of rides for a fee and also can store their tickets electronically for entrance in and out of the park for the weekend.
