First Give Final

We were absolutely blown away by the standard of presentation skills on display during the recent First Give Final.

Year Eight have been very busy, raising money  and awareness for their chosen local charities, carrying out a wide range of social actions from cake sales and car washes to ‘lemonAID’ stalls, alongside many other activities.

They have proven themselves to be enterprising, creative and ambitious students with great dedication to their charities.

It proved an immensely difficult job for the judges (Director of Education Helen Morgan-Rees, Vice Chair of Governors Lynne Guy, Leader of Learning Craig Wade and Deputy Head Girl Paige Owen) to decide on a winning group, but our final victors were 8W – represented by

Lily Clark, Sophia Peters, Lloyd Evans, Chloe Ann Cleverley, Dulini Kamaladasa, Sam Layland, Max James, Gethin Spriggs and Connor Harry. They were supporting Calan DVS and won the £1000 for this very worthy cause.

Da iawn Blwyddyn Wyth!
