A creative arts initiative has brought imagination and personal expression to the forefront for pupils across Swansea.
The Here and Now project invited all Year 8 pupils to explore themes reflecting their lives and the world around them. From cultural and social ideas to personal experiences, the project encouraged pupils to think deeply about what matters in the present moment.
Each pupil produced a unique 20 x 20cm artwork using a variety of mediums. The variety of approaches showcased both creativity and individuality, highlighting the diverse perspectives within the year group.
The standout piece was created by Bethany Roberts of 8E, who was named overall winner from Gowerton. Her work impressed judges with its originality and thoughtful interpretation of the theme.
The exhibition is currently on display at Llwyn Y Bryn and will run until Friday, offering visitors the chance to experience the talent and insight of Swansea’s young artists.
