Summer Reward Trips – 15th July 2026
The school is offering the opportunity for Year 9 and 10 pupils to attend a summer reward trip to Heatherton on Wednesday 15th July 2026.
The price for the trip will be £31, this includes travel to and from Heatherton as well as entry to the park on the day. The trip will aim to leave Gowerton by 9:00 am and will return to Park Road by 4:00 pm Wednesday afternoon. As the trip will return after the school buses, in order for your child to attend the trip you will need to arrange their transport home from school.
If your child is interested in attending the trip, payment will be required via iPay Impact. Unfortunately, we will not be accepting cash/cheque or bacs payments. The window for payments will be open between 6th May and 5th June. Please note that after this date payments are non-refundable. If you have not activated your account for iPay, please email bivensh@hwbcymru.net so we can send you a code. Consent forms will be sent out on MCAS for you to complete.
Pupils will not be required to wear school uniform on the day, but should wear something comfortable and appropriate for a variety of activities. The trip will go ahead regardless of the weather and so pupils should bring clothing suitable for this.

There are places within Heatherton to purchase food, but this can be expensive so we would suggest taking food or snacks with them in a bag. Pupils can also purchase extra credits themselves with their own money.
We reserve the right to withdraw your child from the trip if their behaviour/conduct falls below expectations leading up to the trip.
