Clothing.
Please be aware, much of our time at Llangrannog will be spent outdoors taking part in outdoor pursuits. Pupils will need a variety of warm, suitable clothing. A few light layers will be better than single, heavy items, which will be difficult to dry. A waterproof coat or jacket will be essential, as will a hat, scarf and gloves. Old trainers would be handy for the quads as the tracks can get very muddy. We will be swimming as one of our activities so pupils should bring a swimming costume and towel.
Pupils should not bring new, expensive items of clothing or trainers as they are likely to get dirty or wet. However, if they wish, they may bring a smarter outfit for the Saturday night disco.
Pupils need to bring a sleeping bag and a pillowcase. These should either be packed with their luggage or separate but labeled with the pupil’s name and school name.
Money / Electronic devices.
Very little money is required for the week. There is a small shop that sells sweets, crisps, drinks and small souvenirs. Pupils are discouraged from taking excessive amounts of money in case it gets lost. There is little need for mobile phones at Llangrannog. If pupils decide to take phones, they will be the pupil’s responsibility and taken at their own risk. Pupils should not bring any other expensive electronic devices.

Travel arrangements
Friday 16th January – We will leave after lunchtime on the 16th. Pupils should come to school in clothes ready to go to Llangrannog. Pupils should bring their cases to the Drama Studio in C block where they can be stored until lunch time. Pupils will attend lessons 1-4 (they can leave any books with their teachers rather than taking them to Llangrannog). Pupils will be able to buy food in school or eat a packed lunch before we leave at around 14:00. The first meal will be 18:15 in Llangrannog, so pupils could bring some snacks for the afternoon if they would like.
Sunday 18th January – We will be leaving after lunch at around 13:30. We aim to be back at Park Road by 15:15. Please could all parents make every effort to be there on time. Please try and refrain from parking in the bus bays as it makes it difficult for pupil to disembark the bus safely and makes it more difficult for us to unload the bags.
