After the recent inclement weather, we have conducted a full risk assessment of our school site this morning and deemed it unsafe for pupils and staff.
As much of the snow as possible has been cleared and the site staff have worked incredibly hard gritting and salting yesterday in the hope of us opening today. However, with the continued low temperatures lots of areas have now turned to ice and are unsafe.
It is with careful consideration that the school will be closed today (Tuesday 6th January) and work will be provided for pupils via Microsoft Teams. Please be assured that this decision is not taken lightly, but with the safety of your child paramount in our decision making.
