A selection of our Year 9 pupils are currently involved in an MFL Mentoring programme led by doctorate student Yan from University of Wales Trinity Saint David. These sessions happen once a week and are an opportunity for pupils to deepen their understanding of different languages and cultures, and discover the breadth of opportunities that pursuing a language can offer. So far, pupils have engaged in sessions on Identity and Culture, discussing the significance of names in different languages and comparing cuisine from different cultures.
