We were absolutely blown away by the standard of presentation skills on display during the recent First Give Final.
Year Eight have been very busy, raising money and awareness for their chosen local charities, carrying out a wide range of social actions from cake sales and car washes to sponsored silences, alongside many other activities.
They have proven themselves to be enterprising, creative and ambitious students with great dedication to their charities.
It proved an immensely difficult job for the judges (Councillor Susan Jones, Chair of Governors Morrison Frew, Assistant Headteacher Mrs Sian Pascoe and Head Boy Aayann Durrani) to decide on a winning group, but our final victors were 8T – represented by Alex Davies, Beau Williams Murphy, Morgan Bond, Ashton Moore and Joshua Keenan. They were supporting Matthew’s House and won the £1000 for this very worthy cause.
Da iawn Blwyddyn Wyth!
